RAYMOND HASBROOK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED

A new scholarship has been established for students at Iowa Lakes Community College.

The Raymond Hasbrook Memorial Scholarship was designed by the late Irma Hasbrook. In her will, Irma Hasbrook designated that this scholarship be named in memory of her husband, Raymond Hasbrook, to make an education at Iowa Lakes Community College a reality for deserving students.

Hasbrook Scholarships will be awarded annually to two Estherville Lincoln Central graduates. Any remaining funds generated by the endowment will be awarded to graduates from other high schools. Eligible candidates must attend Iowa Lakes Community College and demonstrate financial need.

The Raymond Hasbrook Memorial Scholarship will first be awarded for the fall semester of 2005. Interested applicants will be required to complete an Iowa Lakes Community College 2005-06 scholarship application by the April 1, 2005, scholarship deadline.
