THREE LAKER MEN NAMED TO ALL-REGION TEAMS

Travis Larson, Josh McKinney and Remy Martin of Iowa Lakes Community College Men's basketball team were named to All-Region Teams in the Region XI conference.

Travis Larson of Hawarden was named to Region XI First Team.  Larson, a 5'10" sophomore, led the Lakers to a 20-11 record while averaging 18 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds on the season.  Larson also connected on 35 percent of his three pointers, making 105 during the year.

Josh McKinney was named to the Region XI Second Team.  The 6'0" sophomore from Urbandale led the Lakers is scoring and three pointers made during the season.  McKinney averaged 19 points a game while connecting on 109 three pointers, including a college record 13 three pointers made in a game.  McKinney scored 43 points in the contest which included a 13-24 shooting performance from behind the arc.

Honorable Mention All-Region honors were given to Remy Martin of Milwaukee, Wisc.  The 6'3" freshman averaged 11 points and 5 rebounds for the Lakers while also being the team's top defensive player.
