IOWA LAKES SIGNS ALL-STATE
GUARD FROM MINNESOTA
Iowa Lakes Community College Head Men’s Basketball
Coach, Jason Vande Brake, has announced the
signing of Truc Ho to a National Junior College
Letter of Intent.
Ho, a 5’7” point guard averaged 21 points, 6
assists and 3 rebounds for Head Coach Dan
Ireland’s Loyola Crusaders. The Madison Lake,
Minnesota native helped guide Mankato-Loyola High
School to 4 straight state tournament berths
including a state championship in 2003. Truc’s
performance on the court helped gain him 1st
team all-city and all-conference honors as well as
being named to Minnesota’s all-state 2nd
team.
“I am very excited to add a young man as talented
as Truc to our basketball program,” stated Iowa
Lakes Head Coach Jason Vande Brake. “He is as
quick a guard as I have ever seen play and is a
perfect fit for the way our teams get up and down
the floor.” “He is going to be very exciting to
watch in our system and I am looking forward to
coaching him.”
Truc is the son of Quoi Ho and Tieu Tran. He is
enrolled in the Associate of Arts Degree program
at Iowa Lakes.
