IOWA LAKES SIGNS ALL-STATE GUARD FROM MINNESOTA

Iowa Lakes Community College Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Jason Vande Brake, has announced the signing of Truc Ho to a National Junior College Letter of Intent.

Ho, a 5’7” point guard averaged 21 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds for Head Coach Dan Ireland’s Loyola Crusaders. The Madison Lake, Minnesota native helped guide Mankato-Loyola High School to 4 straight state tournament berths including a state championship in 2003.  Truc’s performance on the court helped gain him 1st team all-city and all-conference honors as well as being named to Minnesota’s all-state 2nd team.

“I am very excited to add a young man as talented as Truc to our basketball program,” stated Iowa Lakes Head Coach Jason Vande Brake.  “He is as quick a guard as I have ever seen play and is a perfect fit for the way our teams get up and down the floor.”  “He is going to be very exciting to watch in our system and I am looking forward to coaching him.”

Truc is the son of Quoi Ho and Tieu Tran.  He is enrolled in the Associate of Arts Degree program at Iowa Lakes.
