IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE HOSTS
PALO ALTO COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP GOLF OUTING

The date is fast approaching for the Palo Alto County Scholarship Golf Outing which benefits students from Palo Alto County who attend Iowa Lakes.

This will be the fourth of five Iowa Lakes golf events. It will be held at the Emmetsburg Country Club on Friday, August 20.  Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shot gun start at Noon.

The 18-hole event will feature the Best Shot Format and include flag contests and raffles.  Following the event there will be a short awards program with a meal.

Watch for details on the final Scholarship Golf Outing in September, which is scheduled for Spring Valley at Livermore.  The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation Office will receive registrations and hole sponsors until the day of the event.  Those interested in golfing or sponsoring a hole are asked to call the office at (712) 362-0425 or 1-800-242-5106 ext. 425.

Proceeds from the Aug. 20 event will fund programs and scholarships for Palo Alto County residents attending Iowa Lakes Community College.
