Iowa Lakes Community College Hosts
 Dickinson County Scholarship Golf Outing

Area golfers will have a chance to enjoy an afternoon of golf in Dickinson County and contribute to scholarships at Iowa Lakes Community College later this month. 

Iowa Lakes Community College Dickinson County Scholarship Golf Outing will be held July 27.  Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships for Dickinson County residents attending Iowa Lakes. 

• This will be the third of five Iowa Lakes golf events. It will be held at the Emerald Hills Golf Club in Arnolds Park on Tuesday, July 27, 2004.  Registration will begin at 2 p.m. with a shot gun start at 3 p.m.

• The 9 hole event will feature the Best Shot Format and include flag contests and raffles. 

• Students are encouraged to golf in the event and they can play free with a golfing parent.

• Following the event there will be a short awards program with a pork chop dinner.

Further details on the remaining August and September Scholarship Golf Outings, which are scheduled for the Emmetsburg Country Club in Emmetsburg and Spring Valley in Livermore will be forthcoming from the college’s Foundation Office.  Registrations and hole sponsorships will be accepted until the day of the event.  Those interested in golfing and/or sponsoring a hole are asked to call 712-362-0425 or 1-800-242-5106 Ext. 425.
