IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS
KOSSUTH COUNTY GOLF OUTING SCHOLARSHIPS

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2003-04 Kossuth County Golf Outing Scholarships.

The recipients are Gina Bernardo, and Ashley Whitacre of Algona; Lindsay Briggs, and Jennifer Christensen of Burt; and Corey DeBoom, and Robin Sander-Albertson of Whittemore.

The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation, with the help of several Iowa Lakes employees, coordinate an annual golf outing to raise money specifically for Kossuth County student scholarships.  Many community members and businesses attend or sponsor the event to support the college and its students.  Applicants are traditional or non-traditional students
from Kossuth County enrolled full time, attending any site and maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or better.

Those interested in applying for Iowa Lakes Community College Scholarships are encouraged to do so by April 1, 2004.  Those wishing to apply for or establish scholarships should contact Beth Kraft at the Iowa Lakes Community College Institutional Advancement/Foundations Office at 712-362-0410 or 800-242-5106 Ext. 410 or e-mail bkraft@iowalakes.edu.
