iowa lakes community college awards the lloyd and frances george memorial Scholarship

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2003-04 Lloyd and Frances George Memorial Scholarship to recipient Dallas Maday of Ringsted.

Lloyd and Frances farmed for many years and also ran George’s Farm Service in Ringsted.  Family and friends established this scholarship to help a hometown Ringsted student achieve academic success.  Eligible applicants must be a graduate of Armstrong-Ringsted High School with a permanent Ringsted address.  Candidates must also be traditional or non-traditional full-time students attending the Estherville or Emmetsburg Campuses and possess and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
