ANOTHER RECORD ENROLLMENT REPORTED AT IOWA LAKES

For the eighth spring semester in a row, Iowa Lakes Community College has set a new record for enrollment.

The grand total for enrollment, which includes all programs at Iowa Lakes Community College, is 3,722 - up 2.4 percent when compared with one year ago. When compared with 10 years ago, the college's enrollment is up 38.6 percent.

Online courses continue to gain in popularity.  Since last year, online classes have increased 98 percent.

Iowa Lakes offers more than 100 areas of study at its locations in Algona, Emmetsburg, Estherville, Spencer and Spirit Lake.  In addition, the college provides training and retraining to employees of area business and industry as well as continuing education courses.
