the lonni patten memorial scholarship

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the 2003-04 Lonni Patten Memorial Scholarship recipient, Jennifer Christensen of Burt.

Several family, friends and Iowa Lakes Community College employees established this endowed scholarship in memory of Lonni Patten, a student enrolled in the Child Care and Early Childhood Education programs.  Those who knew and loved Lonni were aware of her determination to successfully complete her education.  She was an inspiration to all who worked with her.  Traditional and/or non-traditional students with a 2.5 GPA or better are encouraged to apply.  Candidates must be enrolled in the Child Care and/or Early Childhood Education Programs at Iowa Lakes.
