IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS
PALO ALTO COUNTY GOLF OUTING SCHOLARSHIPS

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2003-04 Palo Alto County Golf Outing Scholarships.

The recipients are Latasha Bleckwenn of Cylinder; Emily Bredehoeft, Sue Faulstick, Michelle Firkins, Zachary Freeman, Chris Hart, Cheryl Hatch, Brooke Jones, Melissa Jones, Heidi Krause, Tanya Louwagie, Amy Malm, Jennifer Quamme, Joshua Soenen, Beth Ann Thompson, and Ashley Walsh of Emmetsburg; Melissa Preston of Fenton; Ashley Jensen, Sheila Kulow, Abby Murray, Brian Olesen of Graettinger; Joey Schmidt of Mallard; and, McKayla Hemmingsen and William Knoer of Ruthven.

The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation, with the help of the Emmetsburg Campus and several Iowa Lakes employees, coordinate an annual fund-raising golf outing.  Many community members and businesses sponsor or attend the event showing their support of Iowa Lakes and its students.  Proceeds go to Palo Alto County student scholarships and programs.  Applicants may be traditional or non-traditional students and must attend the Emmetsburg Campus full time and retain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
