NOMINEES SOUGHT FOR JIM HALL OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARDS

The Iowa Lakes Community College Alumni & Friends Association is seeking nominees for the 13th annual Jim Hall Outstanding Alumni Award.

The association presents this award annually at the Iowa Lakes Community College spring commencement ceremony to an alumnus who is outstanding in service to their community, business, school or service club.

The association established the Jim Hall Outstanding Alumni Award in 1992.  Hall was a 1968 alumnus of Iowa Lakes who died in 1991.  He was a strong supporter of Iowa Lakes and enjoyed serving as an assistant football coach.

Past recipients of the award have been Bob Grems, John Walz, and Pat Hall of Estherville; Dr. Judy Reinking of Algona; Herman Richter, Dean Luchtel, and Rep. Greg Stevens of Milford; Marian Brunsvold, Jack Tatman, and Dr. L.T. Donovan of Spirit Lake; Marcie Frevert of Emmetsburg; and Ronald Smith of Dolliver.

All nominations must be received by March 31, 2004. The association was formed in 1989 to maintain loyalty to the college as well as support students through special activities and provide scholarships.
