WILLIAM AND IRMA COX MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the establishment of the William and Irma Cox Memorial Scholarship.

Eligible applicants for this scholarship must be Iowa Lakes Upward Bound graduates who will be attending any Iowa Lakes Campus full time in a transfer program (A.A. or A.S. degree).  The selection committee will review the applications (including a personal essay), ACT scores, and high school transcripts before selecting the recipient.

The successful candidate may receive up to four semesters of support.  The recipient must attain a minimum GPA of 2.25 during their first semester at Iowa Lakes and a 2.70 thereafter.  Participation in the ASPIRES program at Iowa Lakes Community College is strongly encouraged.
