IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE NORMA NEWHOUSE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2004-05 Norma Newhouse Memorial Scholarship to Carol Anderson of Armstrong.

The family of Norma Newhouse established this scholarship in her memory. Norma worked at the Emmetsburg Care Center for over 23 years, until the time of her death, as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She greatly valued higher education and believed in quality care for all citizens. Qualified candidates are a second year, full-time, non-traditional student enrolled in the Iowa Lakes Community College A.D.N. Nursing Program.
