GAARDE-HINSCH SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS NAMED

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipients of the Gaarde-Hinsch Scholarship.

They are Dain Blacker of Chisholm, Minn.; Joshua Day and Amy Koenecke of Estherville; Dorothy Williams, Tyler Dettmann and Timothy Powers of Emmetsburg; Lindsay Mensing of Blue Earth, Minn.; and Shawn Miller of Primghar.

Bertha and Delbert Hinsch of Estherville established an endowed scholarship for Iowa Lakes Community College vocal or instrumental students. Their great love of music inspired the couple to establish this generous gift. The Gaarde-Hinsch Scholarship is awarded annually to numerous deserving music students.
