EMMET COUNTY FAMILY WORKSHOPS
SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER
The Emmet County Family Education Workshops are
scheduled to continue on December 14 and will
offer practical and effective discipline
strategies to reduce parenting stress and
opposition. Joyce Gardner, Licensed Mental

the importance of consistency in discipline.
Additional information will be presented on
“Goals of Behavior” from the nationally
acclaimed Active Parenting Now curriculum which
uses video, activities and discussion to show
ways parents can raise responsible, cooperative
children who are able to resist negative peer
pressure.

at Demoney Elementary School, 109 South 17th
Street, Estherville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for
