Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the
2004-05 Alumni Scholarships to recipients
Alethea Seydlitz of Spencer and Aarron Cronin of
Marcus.
Seydlitz is a non-traditional student enrolled
full time in the Business Administration and
Management Program at the Spencer Campus. Upon
her graduation possibly as early as December
2004, she hopes to transfer to attain a degree
in business.
Cronin resides in Marcus and attends the
Emmetsburg Campus full time as a traditional
student in Agriculture Production Technology. He
plans to return to Marcus to farm with his
father and uncle after graduation in May 2005.
“This award means so much financially to me. As
a single mom, I truly appreciate it,” said
Seydlitz.
Cronin said, “I want to thank the Alumni &
Friends Association for this award, it helps
immensely and it’s neat since my dad also
attended Iowa Lakes.”
The Alumni Scholarship benefits returning alumni
or children of alumni taking classes in their
second year of attendance. Applicants must have
completed at least 12 semester hours of credit
at Iowa Lakes and plan to enroll for at least 12
semester hours during each of the semesters of
