ALLBAUGH 2004 – 2005 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT ANNOUNCED
BY IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Iowa Lakes Community College has named the Mary and Gene Allbaugh Memorial Scholarship recipient for the 2004 - 2005 academic year.

Mary and Gene were very involved citizens and business persons of Emmetsburg, where they established and ran the radio station. The Allbaughs were instrumental in bringing cable television to Emmetsburg. The Allbaugh children, Suzanne, John and Kathy established this scholarship in memory of their parents to reinvest in the education of citizens served by Iowa Lakes Community College. Qualified applicants are enrolled at any Iowa Lakes location as a full-time student and possess and maintain a GPA in good standing.

This year’s recipient of the Allbaugh scholarship is Wendy Stegena of Lakefield, Minn.
