WOODY'S PIZZA, INC. SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT NAMED

Iowa Lakes Community College is has announced the recipient of the 2003-04 Woody's Pizza, Inc. Scholarship recipient.  

Shayla Thompson of Graettinger is enrolled in the Early  Childhood Education Program at the Emmetsburg Campus.  As a full-time non-traditional student she has returned to college to further her education to achieve her final goal of becoming a teacher. 

After graduating in May 2004 with her associate of science degree she will continue at Iowa Lakes to attain her associate of arts degree in December 2004.  She then plans to transfer to Buena Vista University for a bachelor's degree in education.  Ultimately, she hopes to pursue a master's degree.

"I am honored to be chosen as the Woody's Pizza Scholarship recipient.  This award will help facilitate reaching my educational goals.  I want to thank Jody and Tony Condon of Woody's for this opportunity," stated Shayla.
