IOWA LAKES STUDENT INTERNS AT KILR RADIO
An Iowa Lakes Community
College student majoring in Broadcasting is interning at KILR
radio in Estherville.
Brandon Tempus, Nora
Springs, is working at KILR as an on air personality and part-time
board operator. Tempus' duties include reading the news, weather
and sports as well as running the 'board' on Sunday mornings and
during sporting events.
Tempus will graduate
this spring with an Associate in Science degree.
The Broadcast Media
Specialist program is designed for both men and women interested
in working in radio, television or any media related occupation.
Broadcast students receive hands-on training on modern radio and
television equipment in the college broadcasting studio.
