IOWA LAKES SOFTBALL TEAM RANKED IN TOP 10

The Iowa Lakes Community College softball team is ranked 9th in the nation this week in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II poll.

The Lakers are 20-11 on the season and received 28 points in the first poll of the season.  

The Laker women play again this Friday against NIACC in an afternoon doubleheader in Mason City. 

Two other teams that play in the same conference as the Lakers are in the poll.  Muscatine Community College is ranked sixth and Kirkwood is ranked 12th in the nation in the division II poll.
