IOWA LAKES STUDENT INTERNS AT LOCAL RADIO STATIONS

An Iowa Lakes Community College student studying broadcasting is interning at KUOO/KUQQ in Spirit Lake, and interned this past summer in KUEL/KVFD in Fort Dodge.

Clayton Jacob, of Churdan, is the son of Karen Tasler and Dean Jacob is a part-time board operator and on-air announcer. Some of his responsibilities include playing local church services, on-air talent, running the board during live sporting events, and recording live
events. 

Jacob will graduate in May with an Associate in Science degree from the Broadcast Media Specialist program.

The Broadcast Media Specialist program is designed for both men and women interested in working in radio, television or any media related occupation. Broadcast students receive hands-on training on modern radio and television equipment in the college broadcasting
studio.
