IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS
THE LOUIS D. & HELEN CASPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2003-04 Louis D. & Helen Casper Memorial Scholarship to recipient Travis Wilson of Estherville.

Travis has just completed the Ag Production program at the Emmetsburg Campus, and is now an Ag Transfer full-time traditional student at the Estherville Campus.  After graduating in the summer of 2004, he plans to transfer to Iowa State University majoring in agriculture studies. 

"I would like to thank the Casper family for helping me to further my education.  I appreciate this scholarship so much and feel honored to have been chosen to receive it," stated Travis.

The Casper family established this scholarship in memory of Louis and Helen, lifelong farmers.  A scholarship is awarded annually to benefit a student in an agricultural program.  The recipient must be in good academic standing and must have attended Iowa Lakes for at least one semester in an agricultural program.
