IOWA LAKES LAKER/ALUMNI GAME SET FOR SATURDAY, NOV. 1

The Iowa Lakes Community College Athletic Department will be sponsoring the annual Youth Basketball/Drug Awareness Clinic preceding the men's Lakers vs. Alumni Basketball game on Saturday, November 1st.

The youth clinic will be held at 4:30 p.m. with doors opening at 4 p.m.  The expected tip off of the game is 6 p.m.  All area youth are encouraged to attend and enjoy instruction in the fundamentals of the game from the Iowa Lakes men's basketball players.

For the fans, the Alumni vs. Lakers game will be the first look at the 2003-2004 Iowa Lakes men's basketball team which has been practicing since the first of October.  It is also a time when fans may be able to catch some of their favorite players from previous years.

Advance tickets can be purchased from members of the Iowa Lakes men's basketball team or at the door on Nov. 1.  Prices are $2 for students (includes clinic and game) and $3 for adults.  Children under 5 will be admitted free.
