IOWA LAKES PLAYER NAMED 'ATHLETE OF THE WEEK'

An Iowa Lakes Community College women's basketball player has been named Female Athlete of the Week by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

Tina Geisler, a 5' 11" forward from Racine, Wisc., was selected based on her outstanding offense during games on November 11, 14 and 15.

Geisler averaged 19.3 points per game and shot above 50 percent from the field in all of the games which were against Northwestern JV (17 points), William Penn JV (24 points) and Grandview JV (17 points).

She is a freshman student who is a Recreation Specialist major.  She played high school basketball at Park High School in Racine, Wisc.
