ASHLEY VAN WYK SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT WITH IOWA LAKES

Iowa Lakes Community College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Brian Radtke has announced the signing of Ashley Van Wyk of Monroe, to a National Junior College Letter of Intent.

Ashley played basketball for Chris Honeck at PCM (Prairie City-Monroe) High School.  Van Wyk, a 5’10” wing, averaged 12 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2 steals per game while shooting 47 percent from the field.  She helped her team to a state tournament birth with an 18-4 overall record and a 10-0 conference mark.

“Ashley is a great athlete, who brings speed, quickness, and great jumping ability to the team,” said Coach Radtke.  “She can score, rebound, and run the floor.  We will see big things from her at Iowa Lakes.”
