INCREASED ENROLLMENTS REPORTED AT IOWA LAKES

Another increase in enrollment has been experienced at Iowa Lakes Community College.  This becomes the eighth consecutive fall term for an enrollment record.

College officials report overall enrollment is at 3,623 students – up 5.7 percent from last fall. 

The college has had upward trends during the last nine years. 

Most of the growth this year was reported at the Emmetsburg and Estherville campuses while enrollments at the centers in Algona, Spencer and Spirit Lake remained solid.  eCollege saw the greatest increase – up nearly 322 percent. 

Iowa Lakes offers more than 100 areas of study at its five locations.  In addition, the college provides training and retraining to employees of area business and industry as well as continuing education courses.
