IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES NEW SCHOLARSHIP
ESTABLISHED BY THE LAKES AREA EMPLOYERS’ COUNCIL

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the establishment of a new scholarship for Iowa Lakes Community College students by the Lakes Area Employers’ Council. 

The Council established this scholarship for traditional or non-traditional students from the five-county college district area, with the intent to inspire the recipient to pursue a career here.  Candidates must be registered as a full-time student either spring or fall semester and possess and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.  The recipient must display a strong sense of citizenship and involvement in school and community by the recipient.  The award is to be split between spring and fall semesters and will be used for tuition, books or fees. 

To apply for this scholarship, interested parties may pick up a scholarship application at any of the Iowa Lakes Community College campuses or centers, the Institutional Advancement/Foundation Office in Estherville or on the website at: www.iowalakes.edu.  The application deadline is April 1^st.
