IOWA LAKES STUDENT NAMED TO THE STATE
BOARD OF BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA

Melissa Groff, a student from Iowa Lakes Community College, has been named as the State Historian/Reporter for the Business Professionals of America, Iowa Association.

Groff is the daughter of Leonard and Janet Groff of Springfield, Minn. Melissa is majoring as an administrative assistant and has been a member of the BPA for the last three years on the Emmetsburg campus.

Business Professionals of America is a nationwide vocational student organization. Members at the college level are students who are enrolled in business and office career programs at community colleges and universities.  Students are active at the local level by participating in community service activities, leadership development, and other activities throughout the year.
