The Hotel & Restaurant Management program at Iowa Lakes Community College has been recertified through 2019 in a special Dietary Certification.
The approval means students completing the Hotel and Restaurant Management program may also become certified as Dietary Managers through the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
“The program was reviewed and found to be in compliance with the requirements,” said Lindsey Bates, an associate in the Professional Development Service of ANFP.
In the letter sent to the college, Bates also said, “Graduates enrolled during the approval period will be eligible for membership with ANFP and to sit for the national accreditation examination upon completion of your program.”
