Area golfers are invited to attend the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation’s Palo Alto County Scholarship Golf Outing Friday, August 9, at the Spring Hills Golf Course in Mallard. The event features a nine-hole, four-person best shot tournament format. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon shotgun start. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in flag contests and games throughout the afternoon. All event proceeds benefit students residing in Palo Alto County who attend Iowa Lakes Community College.
Entry fee is $85 per golfer and includes green fees, cart (if requested), lunch and entry gift. Sponsorship packages are available for $500 per team and include event sponsorship and a team of four individual golfers. Raffle tickets for a Stay and Dine Package at Wild Rose Casino & Resort are available at $5 each or 3 for $10 and may be purchased the day of the event or by calling the Iowa Lakes Foundation office at 712-362-0425.
