Iowa Lakes Community College has been named to the Des Moines Register’s “Top 100 Workplaces” in the state of Iowa.
Last spring, surveys were taken of employees through an independent company. The Register awarded the honor based on the results of those surveys.
“Our employees make Iowa Lakes an excellent choice for employment,” said Valerie Newhouse, President of Iowa Lakes Community College. “They are dedicated personnel. They care about each other, they support and assist one another in busy times – all while providing excellent customer service to our students and high quality instruction in the classroom.”
“We’re very pleased to be recognized among the top 100 employers in the state,” President Newhouse added.
Iowa Lakes is listed as # 31 in mid-sized businesses.
More than 35,300 surveys were reviewed as the Des Moines Register searched for the 2012 Top Workplaces.
