The Iowa Lakes Community College Chamber Choir will join forces with the choirs of Briar Cliff University, Morningside College, the University of South Dakota, and the Siouxland Master Chorale to perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 1 – A Sea Symphony.
The performance will be held at the spectacular Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. The Sioux City Symphony, with music director and conductor Ryan Haskins at the helm, will accompany the performance. A Sea Symphony features baritone Michael Todd Simpson and soprano Katie Van Kooten.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Sioux City Box Office at 712-277-2111, online at www.siouxcitysymphony.org, or at the door. Area residents are invited to attend and support the many students participating.
