The Emmetsburg Campus Library and the Emmetsburg Public Library are located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Both libraries are in one complex, but have their own identity.  The Public Library’s holdings are also on the online catalog.

Library Services
Library services are available to students, faculty and staff of Iowa Lakes Community College and residents of the surrounding area.  A college library card is necessary to check out books. Through Iowa Open Access anyone with a library card from a participating library may check out materials from the college library.

In order to increase information access Interlibrary Loan services are available to Iowa Lakes Community College students and staff free of charge. Loans typically arrive in three to ten days.

The library has a fax machine and copy machine available to students for a fee. Students may use a small conference room for small group study or viewing videotapes.  Computers are available for student use.

Forms for obtaining a student activity/library card are available in the library and the Student Handbook.  Cards may be picked up in the library 3 to 5 days after the completed forms are returned to the library.
