Wrestling

The Iowa Lakes Wrestling program has been in existence since the 2008-2009 season. 

In their inaugural season, the Lakers had an outstanding season placing 6th in the NJCAA Div. 1 National Tournament.  In 2010 the team finished 7th, followed by a 10th place finish in 2011. 

The Lakers wrestling program has produced a total of 10 All-Americans and one two time national champion. 

The Lakers wrestle a very fan friendly, aggressive, and intense style.  They are consistently looking to put points on the score board.  The Lakers Wrestling program has transferred numerous students onto respectable four-year colleges, with eight athletes that continue to wrestle.
