Head Coach Ammon Bennett was very pleased with his student-athletes and had this to say, “What a great representation of the student-athletes here at Iowa Lakes Community College. As coaches we could not be more pleased with these students who have not only dedicated themselves as athletes but have also put in the time necessary to excel in the classroom.”
Assistant Coach Sheena Van Roekel was proud of them as well.
“Not only are they working hard on the pitch and in the classroom, but they are also taking extra time to share their knowledge with other students by serving as tutors,” Van Roekel said. “Showing that they are willing to take the extra time to help others goes to prove they not only want to invest time in their academics, but to help others succeed as well. We are pleased with our players who see the value of getting an education while having the chance to play the game they love.”
