The Palo Alto County Corn and Soybean Growers Association Iowa Lakes Student Scholarship was established in 2000. Awards are $500 and must be used for tuition, books or fees. Requirements include full-time enrollment at Iowa Lakes in any major/program; and, the candidate, parent or grandparent must be a member, or in process of obtaining membership, in the association. Favorable consideration will be given to candidate displaying community involvement.
The 2012-13 recipients are Nicole Kinnetz and Anika VanDen Hurk-Moran of Emmetsburg.
