The Palo Alto County Corn and Soybean Growers Association Growing for the Future Scholarship was established in 2000. Award amount is $500 and must be used for tuition, books or fees. Requirements include full-time enrollment at accredited two-year or four-year college in any major/program; and, the candidate, parent or grandparent must be a member, or in process of obtaining membership, in the association. Favorable consideration will be given to candidate displaying community involvement.
The 2012-13 recipients are Nicole Leuer and Paige Naig of Emmetsburg, and Deanna Fehr Whittemore.
