The Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship was established at Iowa Lakes Community College in 2010. Grainger, North America's leading distributor of facilities maintenance products, supports students who wish to become skilled workers in the future workforce. Requirements include honorably discharged U.S. Armed Forces veteran; full-time enrollment in Welding Technology, Construction Technology, Wind Energy and Turbine Technology or Automotive Technology; community service and minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA. Awards are customized Westward toolkits and $2,000 to be used for tuition, books, fees, supplies or equipment.
The 2012-13 recipients are Ethan Hunter of Estherville and Jacob Hunter of Dickens.
