The Baker Upward Bound Scholarship was established in this year and was created after the Baker family had a positive and wonderful experience with the Upward Bound program. Selection emphasis is to a full time incoming Iowa Lakes Community College freshman with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
The 2012-13 recipient is Marrisa Harvey of Estherville.
