Iowa Lakes Community College University of Okoboji Reggie Schive Summer Jazz Camp Internet Usage Policy
For ______________________________ Internet access has been made available to Jazz Camp students to promote educational excellence by facilitating resource sharing, innovation and communication.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY: It is the responsibility of your student to read, understand, and follow the guidelines specified in this Internet Acceptable Use Policy. The use of College's Internet connection is a privilege not a right. Inappropriate use will result in a termination of those privileges.
ACCEPTABLE USE: Acceptable use on the Internet means you can access information for the purpose of, or in support of, research, education, state, local or national government affairs, economic development, or public service.
UNACCEPTABLE USE: The following list gives you examples of unacceptable use, although it is not limited to these:
1. Jazz Camp students will not violate applicable U.S. or state laws.
2. Jazz Camp students will not intentionally access or download or print obscene or illegal material.
3. Jazz Camp students will not access or download or engage in any discussion or chat group.
4. Jazz Camp students will not violate the Iowa Lakes User Agreement.
VIOLATIONS First offense violation will result in warning, with violation report filed. Second offense violation will result in suspension of Internet privilege. *Iowa Lakes Community College reserves the right to determine violation consequences at the time of the offense. The above listed consequences represent our guidelines.
