Algona Campus Programs
Graduates of the Massage Therapy Program are eligible to take the licensure exam to practice in the State of Iowa. This curriculum is approved by the Iowa Board of Examiners for Massage Therapy. The program may be completed in one year totaling over 700 contact hours of instruction.
The Iowa Lakes Community College Practical Nursing Program prepares graduates as entry-level practical nurses. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in hospitals, long-term care facilities, doctor’s office, and home health agencies. The Algona campus offers an evening and weekend Practical Nursing program.
Associate Degree Nursing
The Iowa Lakes Community College Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program prepares graduates as entry-level registered nurses in both hospital and community-based settings. As an Associate Degree Nurse, you will have the knowledge and skills to complete assessments, provide necessary care, and evaluate effectiveness of treatments for clients across the life span. The Algona campus offers evening and weekend Associate Degree program.
