The Sustainable Energy Resources Management Program features a program coordinator with over 25 years work experience in the field of sustainable resources management; a modern, well equipped classroom and laboratory facility; access to a wide array of both wind and biomass energy facilities which provide excellent opportunities for field trips; and a strong emphasis on hands-on learning activities.

U.S. Department of Education CIP Program Description: Prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers and other professionals engaged in developing energy-efficient systems or monitoring energy use. Includes instruction in principles of energy conservation, instrumentation calibration, monitoring systems and test procedures, energy loss inspection procedures, energy conservation techniques, and report preparation.
