Journalism & Photography

In just two short years, you can have an exciting career in Journalism and Photography. In the Journalism and Photography Program, you will develop the skills needed to start your career with a daily or weekly newspaper, work for a monthly publication, or begin your photography profession. You will learn:

• Associated Press style writing
• Layout and design using InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop
• Black and White and Digital photography
• How to manage a staff of 10 or more reporters as the managing editor of the Iowa Lakes’ newspaper, the Spindrift.
