The Engineering Technology Program provides students with the knowledge and skills on order to pursue careers in engineering technology. The program offers a broad curriculum that emphasizes both core and specialized skills — including electromechanical, process control, and automation — required by industry.
Specifically, the program provides students with a strong foundation in electronics, process logic control, and hydraulics so that graduates are able to conducting preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine repairs on industrial equipment. The program incorporates renewable energy, together with lean manufacturing, principles, and this equipping students with a broad knowledge base to pursue entry-level positions in the advanced manufacturing sector.
