The Electrical Technology Program provides students with the knowledge and skills in order to pursue careers as electricians. The program offers a broad curriculum that emphasizes both core and specialized skills required by industry. In addition to learning about the National Electrical Code in preparation for the state licensing exam, students will also learn how to perform work on residential, commercial, and industrial electronic systems. The program includes coursework on renewable energy power systems, HVAC controls, and programmable logic control systems. Students completing the program will possess a broad set of skills to work as entry-level electrical technicians.
