Construction Technology

Construction Technology

Classroom and lab experiences in the Construction Technology program are totally based on competency. As you achieve competency at one level you move on to the next. You learn all aspects of the related building trades.

Construction Technology emphasizes both classroom studies and hands on participation. The curriculum includes building site preparation along with various foundation, floor, wall, and roof systems. We cover both the materials and techniques used in exterior cover and finishing including various brick veneers, sidings, roof coverings, doors, windows, decks, and porches. In the interior finishing course, you develop knowledge and skills in wall covering, millwork, countertops and cabinetry. Construction Technology emphasizes both classroom studies and hands on participation.
